  • 795

Frank lived in a fishing village with his cat Mike, who on Sundays was called by his full name, Michael Sebastian McKinley Smith. Together they would go fishing in the bay where a huge fish called Heywood lived. Every fisherman hoped to catch Heywood one day, but he was too clever to be caught. Frank and Mike have a battle with Heywood and the only way to find out what happened is to read this exciting adventure! (44pp. illus. Masthof Press, 2010 reprint.)

Did the big fish get away?
This tale of Mike the cat trying to catch a big fish and the numerous illustrations had my grandchildren (ages 4 and 8) interested from the beginning to the end. They enjoyed repeating the full name of the cat and found the story quite amusing at times. They were eager to find out if the big fish got away or not.
