Mast Family History

C. Z. Mast

  • 3500

This family history not only traces the descendants of 1750 Bishop Jacob Mast (1738-1808) of Berks Co., Pa., but also traces Blank, Johns, Miller, Smucker, Stoltzfus, and Zug immigrants for several generations. This book is one of the first Amish-Mennonite genealogies published in the U.S. with footnotes identifying many other Amish-Mennonites. The old photos, most unavailable today in original form, offer insight into life at the turn of the century. (852pp. illus. Masthof Press, 2005 reprint of 1911 ed.)

Also available is the Index to the Mast Family History (item #2863).

Great Book

I received the "Mast Family History" and am very much enjoying this large publication. The work that went into it is amazing and I am able to hone in on the German Amish Mast history as that is what my Dad always talked about and now I am able to fully understand our history.
