History of the John High Family of Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, 1754-1996
John High (1769-1823) and Elizabeth Brown (1767-1855) married and had twelve children. The Highs came from Switzerland to Clement, Chester Co., Pa., and then moved to Sorelhorse. Eight generations of their descendants include surnames: Eberly, Martin, Newswanger, Weaver, and Zimmerman. (211pp. index. Author, 1996.)
