God of the Meadow
In the story, little Maddie is chasing the beautiful magical winged creatures that she just learned are called butterflies. Woven into this story is a conversation between Maddie and God that teaches her that questions are good and necessary for us to learn and that Maddie was lovingly designed by God to possess even more beauty and magic than the butterflies. Secure in God’s love for her, Maddie lays down the butterfly net.
God of the Meadow is designed to be an educational tool aiding readers and listeners to identify a variety of butterflies, increase vocabulary, and most importantly trust in a loving God that designed all with beauty and magic. The illustrations, although designed to enhance the story, were not created to tell the story, but instead to encourage children to use their own imaginations in order to better see themselves in the story. (46pp. full-color illus. Author, 2025.)
Intended for ages 4-8. Each book is signed by the author!
