Young American Patriots - The Youth of Pennsylvania in
World War II (National Publishing Company, 1946, 674 pages)
This publication is a memorial to the service men and women of Pennsylvania who served in WWII. It contains brief sketches of 1,000's of soldiers from across the state. The sketches provide a variety of information on each soldier: Name, rank, branch of military, engagements, discharge date, military awards, birth date, parents, spouse, address, religion., etc. The information varies from soldier to soldier but most contain the information above. Also, nearly every sketch is accompanies by a portrait of the soldier.

This publication is not an exhaustive listing of all the soldiers of Pennsylvania who fought in World War II. Nearly all counties are represented, but some more extensively than others. Those given more extensive coverage include: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Blair, Butler, Cambria, Cumberland, Dauphin, Erie, Fayette, Indiana, Lawrence, Northampton, Westmoreland,

This publication was written as a memorial to those who lived in the area of Old Paxton Township and who served in the various wars from 1715-1946. It was produced to coincide with the welcome Home Celebration for the World War II Veterans, and relates an outline of the events associated with it, and those who participated in it. The majority of the publication is information on the military history of the area from the French and Indian War to World War II. There are also numerous pictures of residences, portraits of soldiers and many ads from local businesses.

Columbia Welcome Home Celebration Souvenir Program

This publication was written as a memorial to the service men and women of WWII who lived in Columbia, Lancaster County, PA. It contains a program of the events associated with the celebration, and a list of people involved in its various committees. It also provides an "Honor Roll" of all the members of the armed forces from the area who served in World War II, as well as those killed in action. This is accompanied by separate lists of servicemen from local organizations, such as lodges, and businesses. Following this is a section dedicated to the soldiers who were killed in the course of the war. It provides a photograph of most of them, and includes their name, rank, and where they died.

Lest We Forget - A Grateful Community Remembers (Paul M. Russell, 1958, 92 pages)
This is a commemorative booklet highlighting the involvement of New Holland's citizens in World War II. It provides excerpts from "Victory News", a periodical published during the war and covering news pertaining to the residents of New Holland. Along with the historical information from the war, are many photographs of New Hollands residents and soldiers. In the center of the publication is a service roll citizens from New Holland who served in the war, followed by a list sketches of several Gold Star soldiers.

Churchtown Centennial Celebration May 30, 1966 - Memorial Day (Anonymous, 1966, 38 pages)
