The directory information is arranged alphabetically listing the resident's name, occupation and street address. There is also a business directory for South Fork, Gallitzin, and Ebensburg. Also, just before the main directory is a brief history of Johnstown and then a history of the "Great Flood" of May 31st 1889. The end of the publication contains a list of the dead from Johnstown and Cambria City.
