Sankt Martin (St. Martin) is located in the southwestern German geographical region of Pfalz, in the German federal state of Rheinland-Palatinate, in the heart of the German wine-producing vineyards along the famous “Weinstraße.” The geographical region and history of the area are discussed along with the many facets of wine culture to be found in St. Martin, including the variety of tractors used in grape farming, wine barrel wood carvings, and old wine presses, wagons, and hand pumps, alongside modern wine bottles found in the town. Full-color photos will entice the reader to get on a plane to visit this enchanting town on their own. (108pp. full-color illus. Masthof Press, 2020.)
