Living in Switzerland during the Reformation was not easy . . . for anyone. The Kraemer family are the founding fathers of an idyllic Swiss village. They are hardworking, cheese making dairy farmers who just want to shut themselves off from the outside world. Their Anabaptist beliefs are not accepted and they need to move on or give up what they believe in. There are storytellers in every generation of the Kraemer family who tell compelling stories—some pleasant and some tragic—but all of them need to be told to understand the legacy they have been given by those who went before them. This is a fictional family saga based on historical events. (326pp. Masthof Press, 2021.)
