This biography of Tennessee John Stoltzfus (1805-1887), a true Amish Mennonite, is filled with drama, with successes and failures, with joys and sorrows, and with fulfillment and frustration. He was the great-grandson of Nicholas Stoltzfus who migrated from Germany in 1766. John married Catharine Holly (1807-1884) and had 15 children.
