Subtitled "Letters From 1848 to 1925, From Various Amish Communities That Existed at That Time," these letters were translated from the German script. The original Amish Bishop of Allen Co., Ind., was Peter Graber. He was highly respected and often asked for advice. Therefore, many of the letters were directed to him from other Amish communities.
