Old time Ice Harvesting

This is a book I'd been searching for quite a while, I'd seen a few available online for inflated prices but held off till a good value appeared...
My fascination with ice started when my wife needed almost constant ice bags (the old fashioned screw on cap style) to alleviate pain. I was constantly "harvesting" ice from our freezer to keep up with the demand. I also remember my grandmother having an ice chest on the farm in Eaton Ohio. It wasn't used but it was always a curiosity to me...
There are a lot of stories included about how the ice was harvested, stored and distributed. An entire industry has vanished into the past and memories. It's important to keep history alive and available to everyone which this book does.
