Archival records compiled and transcribed from "The Southern Claims Commission Records," for the years 1871-1880 are printed in this fourth volume covering Bowmans Mill, Broadway, Cherry Grove, Cootes Store, Timberville, and Singers Glen of Rockingham County, Virginia. They consist of the farms and homes of loyalist families whose misfortune includes being located in the vicinity of foraging Union troops during both the early and latter part of the War of the Rebellion.
