Fifty Years of History, 1957-2007: Union, Wakefield, and Oxford Areas
From 1957 to 1967, the Union Church District in southern Lancaster Co., Pa., had only nine families and was a large, wide area of mostly farmland. In the 1970's, the church district expanded to 12. As of 2008, there are approximately 375 families living there. Chapters are dedicated to each of the church districts, as well as ordinations; accidents and deaths; schools; 17th and 18th-century postal history and railroad history; second marriages; and miscellaneous stories. This book offers a wealth of information about the families in this area. (309pp. illus. hardcover. Authors, 2008.)
