This CD identifies 200,000 immigrants who arrived at Atlantic and Gulf coast ports between the 17th and 19th centuries. It includes name, age, occupation, place of origin, port of departure, name of ship, names of accompanying family members, and date and place of arrival. With a few exceptions, these passenger lists pre-date the keeping of official passenger arrival lists. Ports up and down the coast: French in La.; Scotch-Irish in S.C.; Germans in Baltimore, Md.; Swedes on the Delaware; Quakers in Pa.; and English and Irish in Rhode Island and Nova Scotia. (CD. Gen.
